I didn't realize being in the house was driving me crazy until I followed my hubby's advice to get out and it made the biggest difference. 4 months and older is a whole different ballgame than those first 4 months - I always tell people I'd have 20 kids if they popped out 4 months old!

I'm definitely going to share this link with other mommy friends!Jessica Hudsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10358843734053036798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7217731282921045344.post-26197901668636990232011-05-04T01:04:44.659-04:002011-05-04T01:04:44.659-04:00Amazing advice!!! They get so hot!!

My first advice I ever heard was to not ready the baby books. I stuck to it and I'm so glad I did! You may have found yourself a new follower. :)

My sons daycare is in the basement of a retirement home. I can't tell you the number of times the old bitty women have practically yelled at me because my son wasn't "properly dressed." Just because YOU are freezing all the time doesn't mean he is grandma. My son would sweat to death if I dressed him the way you want me to!And cloth diapers are the shiz.

If it makes me a hippy, pass me the tye die and patchouli! And basically came away thinking that I was a failure because she was SUPPOSED to be sleeping in longer stretches. Since then, I have tried my best to stay away from them and NOT let what "they" say dictate what I do as a mother.Lucy Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09172695235913542465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7217731282921045344.post-58999050895791223192011-05-03T13:10:59.441-04:002011-05-03T13:10:59.441-04:00Thank you so much for this. They are anti- formula, anti- cribs (they are "co-sleepers" which is why the five Y/O still sleeps with them...) and I know that when we finally do have a baby, the fact that no one lives closer than eight hours away will be a huge blessing. I love when people give advice like this- namely, do what's best for you and your baby :-)Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13705231514972615443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7217731282921045344.post-25387221452338691172011-05-03T13:07:35.599-04:002011-05-03T13:07:35.599-04:00I am not a mommy, nor will I be anytime soon, but ...I am not a mommy, nor will I be anytime soon, but I just want to say that "unsolicited advice" happens all the time, and it's probably my biggest pet peeve.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00264648257398440130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7217731282921045344.post-6843551554372436012011-05-03T12:35:05.764-04:002011-05-03T12:35:05.764-04:00You could not have said it better - this post is a...You could not have said it better - this post is awesome and so on point:) It is so hard to navigate the first time mommy waters and this is def some great advice for a first time momma.
