An Unexpected Break...

It feels as if I have been gone from the blogging world for sooo long, but really it's only been a couple of weeks. The first of March brought along not only nice weather but a whole new work load for me. I've gone from 40 hour work weeks to 50-60 hour work weeks. Obviously it has taken a toll on my free time and that happened to include blogging. But, I promise I'm going to put my time management skills to work and make more time for my blog which definitely needs some TLC!

I'd like to tell you guys that I have a ton of updates to entertain you with, but unfortunately my life has not been that interesting. Anyways, here's my shabby list of updates and my getting back into the blog grove warm up...

  1. I am definitely enjoying work more than I have in a long time. We have added some fresh faces and some new programs that have really spiced things up. The hours suck, but the overtime is great! I definitely can't complain about too much work when some people have so little or none.
  2. Lola is a peeing and pooping (and might I add poop eating) machine! Let me just say we are probably the sole reason Brawny and Woolite are in business. Her new favorite toys are hangers, plastic, socks, and shoes.
      1. Michael is off nights starting next week! I have to admit that I am a little nervous about how we will cope with all the new together time we will have. Although I have missed him terribly, I think we have gotten a little use to our own space.
      2. We have changed our vacation from Mexico to Jamaica. Due to the craziness with all the drug cartels we decided to make a switch-a-roo. Being beheaded and dropped in a vat of acid didn't seem like the pool side Miami Vice sipping vacation I had envisioned.
          1. I believe I have found a new pen pal through my step dad's mother. It's nice to know that she cares enough to let me know that she is interested in my life.
Ok, so that's it for now. I know...not very interesting. Don't give up on me though! It will only get better once I get back into the normal swing of things. I've missed you guys!

          1. yay we are so glad to have you back. glad to hear you are doing well! That is so good that you changed your vacation location, it is so scary what is going on in Mexico!

          2. Woo-hoo! Welcome back! Glad things are moving along well for you! And holy freeholies, where the heck have I been that I didn't hear this story?! DEFINITELY cause for a change of plans!

          3. Glad to see you, and no hurry. Let the storm pass. And Jamaica looks lovely.

          4. welcome back!! it's nice to see your return and i might mention that those updates are definitely not so shabby. :)

          5. oh my goodness, I missed you my girlfriend!

          9. Jamaica looks WONDERFUL!

            Your puppy is adorable!

And I think it is REALLY nice that your step-dad's mom is writing to you. It just goes to show that not all children have the same interests as their parents.

          10. Oooh, if you are going to Ocho Rios there is a tour we took that was absolutely amazing. Let me know and I'll get you the info!!
