Just Some Things that are on My Mind...

Why is it that when you need your child to wake up early they decide to sleep in? Thus ruining the plan of moving up the crucial morning nap in order to attend scheduled activities.
............................................................................................................

Now that teething has set in my "get crap done hours" end promptly at 3PM. 3PM is when my teething child decides he does not need to have a nap. He wants to be held, wait no, don't hold me, wwwwhhhhat you are putting me down, pick me up! I said don't hold me!  ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGH. We do this game until 7 or 7:30 when daddy finally gets home and I peace out.

Good news is...the second tooth is in sight. Bad news, it hasn't broken through yet. Maybe we will get a tiny break after this one. We shall see. On second thought, maybe we should just get this all over with!

................................................................................................................

Why doesn't baby yogurt have to be refrigerated. This bothers me. What is really in that stuff? And yes, I fed it to my child anyways solely because I want to get more dairy into his meals.

................................................................................................................

Speaking of meals....I want to get in the kitchen and cook something wonderful. I use to love to try new recipes and lose myself in the kitchen just doing my thing. Now the kitchen is a stressful place. Me no likey. I want that part of my life back. I'm tired of making tacos.

................................................................................................................

I'm super thankful that when my husband does get home, he realizes I need some me time. I'm cranky without it and lately (due to this phase we are in) there has been a severe shortage of it.

Unfortunately this is all coming at a time when I have a million projects started (okay, really like 5) and I have a ton of crap to do. By the time he gets home. I'm donezo. Oh well....one day.

.............................................................................................................

Apparently this is blogger boycott day. Who the heck decides these rules and if you are a blogger...why do you want to boycott your own outlet? Just something that confuses me.

.............................................................................................................

Twitter. I still don't completely understand you. #FF? What is  that. Can you make up your own # things because I totally do. I still don't understand what they mean I just do it arbitrarily. Also, I sometimes forget to scroll back in convos to see if something has already been said or not and then feel like a dumbass later.

A lot of times I feel like I'm butting in to conversations or ease dropping and that's an awkward feeling. Maybe I'm just not cool enough for Twitter.

Plus, um, there is a lot of passive aggressiveness on Twitter. I really don't care to get into all that. I'm not sure if me and twitter are cut out for each other. We'll see. I haven't made a decision yet.

...............................................................................................................

My dog  pukes at the worst times. I know, there really isn't a good time for it, but it always happens right before someone comes over. Right as I'm walking out the door. Right before my alarm goes off in the morning. Or just when I've got a billion other things already to clean up. Like I needed something else added to my list.

Why do you puke so much anyways Lola? #idontget it (that's my favorite # thingy to use hehe). Now if I only understood it.

  1. HA! #FF means "Follow Friday" when you suggest your followers follow certain people !
Are you on pinterest?I have found so many easy recipes on there that have helped me get back in the kitchen!

  2. I used to wonder the same thing about the Gerber yogurts and finally stopped wondering...but you can get the YoBaby ones in the dairy aisle, cold, if you prefer. Tommy is refusing to eat those (we're on the YoToddler and YoKids, but I still buy the YoBaby too) right now, but he is back on the Gerber ones you are talking about.

Re the dog throwing up...one of my cats does that too. Tommy is the one who usually finds it too...thankfully he knows not to touch it, but when he is yelling "Ewwwww!" from the other room, 75% of the time, I know what I'm dealing with!

  3. Was gonna come tell you what #FF means...but you found out already ;) And hashtags? Making up your own is for fun and totally allowable. So thats great ;) And passive aggression can suck it. We are all victims of it sometimes but I try to leave my tweeting to whining about mom-related-things, and chatting w/ my girlfriends. And basically, it is like eavesdropping, lol--but just remember this, if anyone doesnt WANT to share something publicly, they don't have to--they can do it over DM. So don't feel too bad. Have a good weekend!

  7. I love the blogger who hosts the boycott, but I need a blog reading fix during nap time. I try to spend time on Twitter too.

    Stopping from Jenna's Journey!

  8. I know nothing of this boycott. What am I missing on?
And twitter can get a bit out of control sometimes, but it's fun too. I've been doing it for a couple of weeks only and have already gotten into it like whoa!
I hope your teething baby slows down a bit and you can get your sanity back soon!

  12. I feel you sister! I have been in need of me time, completing projects and running around cleaning up after my dog. Teething and a summer baby cold doesn't help the equation. Wine makes it better! Ha! :)

  14. Hi there! Finally made it over here from your comment on my blog. Sorry it took me a while. :)

I totally get you on the Twitter thing. I follow others...well, just celebs like Anthony Bourdain and Blake Shelton...but I can't figure out all the jargon. Can't imagine that Twitter would do me any better than Facebook...that's my real connection to the outside!

Also agree on the dog puke! ;)
