So What Wednesday

It's been way too long since I've joined in on Shannon's So What! Wednesday so I thought I'd join in the fun today.

So what if...

  • I feel myself slowly sliding back into my sugar-holic-ness even though I told myself this pregnancy I would not. It started with an extra sugar in my beloved iced coffees, which then led to caramel, oh and whipped cream....yes, please. My thighs are already showing effects.
  • I refuse to scrub our shower while pregnant. I hate shower chemicals but I've yet to find any alternative that I feel cleans just as good. I say I don't do it for the chemicals, but truthfully, it's just a good excuse to get my husband to do it.
  • I wear the same pair of shorts every day. They get washed....occasionally.
  • I still have several Olympic events recorded on the DVR. I want to watch them, but now I feel so uncool doing so after it's already over.
  • I have a love/hate relationship with our dark hardwood floors. OMG no one tells you how much work they are to keep clean! I refuse to steam clean more than once a week, but they could use it every other day.
  • I went to Wal-Mart yesterday to grab a new x-acto knife and somehow came out with $50 worth of stuff...why does this always happen?
  • I watch every single series of RH but I'm refusing to watch Miami ever again. They wasted too many hours of my life watching them have lunch the first go around!

  1. LOVE this post! :) Oh, and FYI, I use vinegar and dish soap on my shower... And it's squeaky clean! More than it ever was when we used chemicals. If you warm up the vinegar, all you really have to do is let it sit for an hour or two and then rinse it off... No scrubbing!

  6. Love it!
Umm... I just FORCED my husband to clean our shower because I'm pregnant and if I can't drink my wine, eat sushi, wear a bikini (and look normal), I think the LEAST he can do is clean our shower!
I eat sugar like its my day job, I really don't have motivation to stop (except that glucose tolerance test in coming up)!
I TOTALLY wear the same shorts after work every day!

  7. Yea I wouldn't be able to go back and watch the events. It's such a downer when it's over!

Good call on the shower cleaning. Keep that baby (and you!) safe!

  8. Go ahead and watch those Olympics on DVR. I find regular TV to be so boring right now, I wish there was more Olympics! And it's also on Comcast On Demand. :)

  9. OMG no way should you feel bad about not scrubbing the shower. Come on now! Hahaha! We have light hardwood floors so I've never heard that dark ones get dirty! Good to know.

  10. Love it - I'm feeling a bit of a sugar holic myself the last 4 days, I think when I don't eat enough fatty foods/protein I crave SUGAR. Le sigh.
