If you have been a long time faithful follower, feel free to skip this post. It's going to be a get to know me, here's what you've missed type of thing. If your a newbie or a vistor (hopefully a follower by the end of this) then this will be a great time to see what I'm all about and catch up on some past posts you might have not been around for!
I'm terrible at "about me's". They aren't my cup of tea, but here is my best shot at one!
Hello everyone, I'm Laura. I'm 26 (soon to be 27). I have been married to my best friend, Michael, for 3 years (in June) and have a beautiful, happy baby boy named Ethan who is about to be 6 months old. We live in the south and have a 2.5 year old Westie terrier named Lola. All of their pictures are on the right sidebar if you want to sneak a peak.
I blog about my everyday life: the good and the bad, the big and the small. I'm a little on the sarcastic side and really wish they had a sarcasm font. The tabs at the top of the page give you a good idea of what I'm currently blogging about (they change as I do). Our story will give you the down and dirty of where we've been, who we are are, and how we got here. The other tabs are mainly my interests: The first is Ethan: Month by Month where you can catch up on his birth story and all his growing (you can find all the pregnancy posts under labels on the left sidebar), What's to Eat? is a list of all the recipes I've shared, Past Reads is exactly what it says it is (I do a book list every year - this year I'm behind), Project 52 is something I'm pushing myself to do so I can learn how to manually work my Cannon Rebel T1i, and finally Extreme Couponing is my new little adventure and still a work in progress. I also enjoy organizing, square foot gardening, redoing rooms, and cloth diapering my baby.
The best way to get a taste of me is to sample some of my past posts. My very first post tells you why I picked this particular title for my blog. I'd go ahead and skip the rest of 2008...I had no idea what I was doing! The Moment I Knew tells you all about how I knew my husband was the one for me. You Better Be Glad I'm a Nice Person gives you a pretty good taste of my aforementioned sarcastic side (it's a letter to the previous owners of our first condo which we have since sold). This post let's you get to know our fur child Lola.
My extended family is very important to me, here's a post about the Pig Roast we do every year. I love picking on my husband, but here's a funny one that shows I trust him enough to dye my hair. Shew....that's a lot of catching up! I hope you see something you like and decided to stick around. Leave me a comment so I can check you out to.
Thanks for taking the time to meet me!
